Resolis Charity Events 2023: Kiltwalk & Shine Night Walk

As part of our charity program for 2023, some of the Resolis team are taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk and Shine Night Walks, and we are matching the money they raise for Cancer Research UK.

Edinburgh Kiltwalk

First up, we have our team of Resolis Racers, who are doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on Sunday 17th September.

They’ll be tackling the longest of the 3 routes, The Mighty Stride, which is a whopping 21 miles.

It sets off from Bingham Medway and will take them around the city before finishing up at Murrayfield.

We’ve agreed to match the money they are raising for several different charities with a donation to Cancer Research UK.

Further information and registration details can be found at TheKiltwalk.co.uk.

If you want to make a donation to the Racers, please head over to their Just Giving page.

Shine Night Walks

We also have a number of Resolis teams taking part in some of the Cancer Research UK Shine Night Walks.

Many of us are location independent and the Shine Night Walks are a series of full or half marathon night-time walks in cities across the UK throughout September and October.

Again, we will be matching all the money that each team raises for Cancer Research UK.

Full details for each of the host cities can be found at CancerResearch.org.

Why we are supporting Cancer Research UK

1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime.

The work Cancer Research UK do saves lives.

Over the last 40 years, Cancer Research UK has helped double breast cancer survival, they have been a key player in the development of radiotherapy, and they have played a leading role in the development of 8 of the world’s top 10 cancer drugs.

At Resolis, we are proud of their achievements, but there is still more to be done.

The money we raise will help to bring us closer to helping them achieve their goal of 3 out of 4 people surviving cancer for 10 years or more by 2034.

Any support is much appreciated!
