Earlier in his career, Stephen spent more than a decade as Assistant Commercial Manager and Lifecycle Account Manager at Mitie Defence Ltd (formerly Interserve Defence Ltd) on the HMS Drake PFI contract. He was responsible for a £1.5 million annual maintenance budget across a large and varied estate, developing five-year maintenance plans, delivering financial and commercial reporting, and leading numerous lifecycle and capital projects.
Stephen began his career as a draftsman and technician before moving into surveying and management roles, gaining a strong technical foundation along the way. Known for his collaborative leadership style, commercial acumen, and deep PFI expertise, he is committed to building strong client relationships and delivering results on complex, high-value projects.
In his spare time, Stephen is a keen diver with a particular interest in deep wreck exploration and marine conservation.
